Execution

2023

The provincial palace of Namur is a Renaissance-style building built in the middle of the 18th century.
Significant restoration work on the roof frames was carried out both to secure the Palace and to enhance the attic space. The existing load-bearing elements were not sufficient to envisage use in accordance with today's standards.
The main beams supporting the heritage ceilings were restored and reinforced by increasing the inertia by adding additional height.
Complete scaffolding and a temporary roof were provided to carry out the work safely without disrupting the use of the building too much.
